How to select the right web developer for your startup Idea in bangladesh

Choosing the right web developer to work on your startup idea is a challenging task. There are many web developers out there, but you have to ask yourself a few questions before you can select the right one for your project:
  • How experienced is the developer?
  • How will they work with you?
  • How much will they charge?

The answers to these questions will help you make an informed choice when selecting the right web developer for your project.

It's a common dilemma for startups: they want to launch a website, but they don't have the money to hire a professional web developer.

Why not just learn how to code? This is a common question asked by startup founders. The answer is simple: it's not that easy, and it will take too long.

If you don't have the resources to outsource, you need to know how to select the right web developer for your project. There are different types of developers, and you need to be able to distinguish between them. In this blog post, we will talk about three types of web developers - software engineers, web designers and front end developers.

Choosing a web developer can be a daunting process. I've worked with dozens of startups -- from one-person start-ups to multi-million dollar media companies -- and there's one thing they all have in common: they want to make sure they're hiring the right person for the job.

Telling me how you want your site to look is just the first step. You also need to tell me how much you want to spend, how quickly you need it and what your ultimate goals are.

You can't expect a developer to read your mind. The more information you share with them, the more likely you are to get what you want.

I'm going to give you some tips on how to choose the right web developer for your project.

1.Do they understand the requirements of your business ?

The most important thing you can do when you're looking for a web developer is to find someone you like. I don't mean someone who's easy to work with or has a nice personality; I mean someone that you think will be able to do the job and have it meet your expectations.

According to  most start-ups, the experience of working with web developers is horrifying. It is seen that their  last web developer was great at making things look pretty and coming up with solutions, but they didn't understand their business very well. They made some bad suggestions that led them down the wrong path, and they  had trouble making changes when they  needed them.

2. Choose from a variety of web developers wisely

Definitely bring more than one candidate in for an interview. Since you're looking for a long-term partner, it's best to see how they interact with you and other members of your team before you commit. If they can't explain what they're doing in language that makes sense to everyone on the team, they probably won't be able to communicate effectively once they've started working on the site either. You want someone who will be able to explain things simply so everyone can understand what needs to happen.

3. Ask for their previous work , references and work samples

Find out how many websites they've built before, and make sure they're sites that are still around today. It's difficult to get a sense of how good their past work is without seeing it in person. It's a big job to take on. Before doing it, you should get some references. Ask their previous clients if they are satisfied with the work the web developer has done for them. Don't just ask the web developer for references, though. Find out if they have any actual clients and call them yourself. Have some of your own questions to ask of these references. You should be able to tell whether or not the person is an actual client by their answers.

When talking about references, ask about what the person is like to work with, how long it took them to do the job, how easy they were to communicate with, how much they charged, and what kind of work they did. Don't worry that you're asking too many questions: you're trying to make a decision that will affect your business and your life. You shouldn't rush into this decision.

If the freelancer or contractor you want to hire has many good reviews and recommendations from past clients, it's more likely they are reliable and will do good work for you. However if they have few or no reviews or recommendations at all then it's more likely that they are unreliable and use poor business practices.

4. It is important to evaluate their expertise

There is a trap that most people fall into when choosing a web developer for their project. They expect the developer to be able to do everything for them, to have all the answers.

That is not how web development works. The person who best understands your requirements is yourself, and you are not a software expert. So the right approach is to hire someone to work with you on your project.

How to evaluate expertise of the web developer? There are some indicators on which you can judge the level of professional development. It is important to have a good web developer. Make sure that he has enough experience. You need this as a part of your business plan.

The best way to judge potential web developers is by checking their portfolio first. Review the previous works and make sure that the design fits your needs and expectations, and it is actually done according to all of your requirements. The speed of work depends on what you need and how fast you want it done.

The next thing is to check client feedback and comments. This can be done by asking other clients or looking through various review sites online. The next step would be a meeting, where you can discuss further details regarding the project and also get a better feel for each other for future cooperation. You should be able to see if your visions match, or if there are any additional requests from your side that could be added in order for things to go smoothly with your project.

If you found all the necessary information about the company, contact them again via phone or email after a while and ask if they are still accepting new projects, so that you can make up your mind whether you want their services or not."

5. Ask for the budget

When it comes to web development, there are many types of service that can be provided. For example, the developer can build a complete website from scratch, which involves the creation of all files and codes that make up the website. On the other hand, developers can also work with existing websites and make them mobile friendly, or add new features to an existing site.

When looking for a web developer, there are many factors that need to be considered. The first question is how much money you want to spend on the project. If you have a budget of $1000 per month, then you will need to look for web developers that charge on a per-project basis rather than hourly basis. If you have no budget at all but still need a website created, then do not look for any type of service providers other than freelancers. Freelancers are relatively cheaper compared to most professional web developers that are available in the market today.

Make sure to look at their portfolio before hiring them for your project. Make sure that the work they have done previously is similar to your project so that you can avoid future problems with regards to functionality and design. It is also best if you ask for references from people who have previously hired them so that you can get an idea whether they are the right person or not .
